Tubac, is this incredibly awesome place located in southern Arizona. It is a colony of artists in the Santa Cruz River Valley and its a shoppers paradise with all types of wonderful art galleries and shops stuffed with all sorts of hand-crafted items, jewelery, paintings, sculpture and clothing. My personal favorite is the wonderful hand painted mexican pottery……..ohhhhh, the pots, the colors, the shapes and sizes!!!
If I had a truck and a few hundred dollars, I would load it up with various shapes and sizes and have the most awesome patio filled with lots of beautiful flowers displayed in these colorful pots!!!
Tubac has been dubbed “The place where art and history meet” and the area is full of history dating back to 1752 when the Spanish built the Tubac Presidio (fort). If you ever get to Tucson or Southern Arizona, make sure to check this gem out.
