Across town at the Kittyville Opera the sidewalk was alive with lavishly dressed cats slowly making their way toward the entrance.  Security was tight as the big black limo pulled up to the front and Prime Minister Purcy emerged, tipping his hat and extending his paw to his lovely wife Purrrcilla.  The crowd applauded as they climbed the stairs, stopping briefly for a photo op as they went.

 Inside the building the chandeliers glowed warmly, as champagne was passed from crystal glass to glass.  The orchestra began to play and the elegant crowd moved to their seats.  Purcy and Purrcilla were escorted to their private box and made comfortable as the lights dimmed and the first act of Tom Giovanni began.
