“What! What do you mean you don’t know where she went?”  You were supposed to keep her away from the docks Pete, it wasn’t a hard job, and I thought you could handle it!”  Dan’s voiced raised.  Pete sighed, “I’ll find her, don’t worry, she told me she was going to some club on Lexington Claw, to meet a cat named Barry.  There can’t be that many nightclubs on Lexington.”  Dan could feel his anger rising, the fur on his neck began to rise.   “I don’t want her walking in on this deal, you get that big cat?  You told me you would take care of her and I am counting on you!” Dan was livid and Pete felt terrible, but he really hadn’t planned on Puss pulling a dirty dog on him.  “Don’t worry Dan, I will find her, I promise, and when I do I won’t let her slip through my paws again.”  Pete pushed “end” and tossed the phone on the seat next to him.  He slammed the gearshift into drive, and the old car sputtered back into the street.  He cranked a U-turn and headed off toward Lexington Claw, the opposite direction of the docks on Kittyville Bay.

Alien Invasion

June 30, 2009

P6270012I decided I had enough strength today to write my own blog with a little help from the HM.  Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, I feel them and I know I am loved.  I thought I felt a little better last night.  The HF came home with some “lamb” dry food, and I ate some of that.  The HM made some tuna, with egg and mayo and I ate some of that too.  I drank a lot of water, and I used my box.  I tried to purr when they picked me up and gave me a pet.

Although the HM and HF believe that my sudden onset of illness is related to the FIV vaccination I received;  my theory is somewhat different and I believe I have  proof.  I am sure that if Dennis and Trixie were here to help me prove my case then perhaps everyone would see what is really going on.  I believe that I am being poisoned by aliens, they are sucking the life and soul out of me.  These aliens have invaded my home in kitten-like bodies, but are really green, slimy and glow in the dark.  Occasionally their “glow-in-the-dark” personalities come out as evidenced by the following photos:P6280019

Notice the evil glow in this subjects eyes.

See the fierceness and evil in their battle confrontations.

Unless I am able to overcome the poison, eventually I will be just a “lifeless” blob of orange fur……..help me!!!!

The Monday Report

June 30, 2009

P6290037PennyCat had a very rough weekend.  She had not improved much at all.  She was not eating or drinking and the litter box was empty.  Today when we came home from work she seemed to be a little more interested in food and we offered her many alternatives.  She  has spent her last four days laying around sleeping and moaning.  She is very lethargic and seems almost disoriented. We are very worried, please keep her in your thoughts ;asjfdasdddddddd dddddddddddddddddddvak, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (sorry kitten on the keyboard.)

Signed, PennyCat’s HM and HF

PennyCat is feeling better. She is still lethargic however she has been eating and drinking since last night and had her normal breakfast this morning. The brothers are crazy this morning so PennyCat is watching them carefully as well as watching out the front door. PennyCat is hoping the brothers will be taking a nap soon so there will be peace and quiet!!!!

7 a.m. PennyCat Report

June 26, 2009

This morning PennyCat ate a little breakfast, and tried to purr for her HF.  Her neck is stiff and still swollen from the fluids which makes it hard to turn her head.  She sighs with each breath, which makes the HM feel terrible.

P6250001Thank you PennyCat friends, and Vet John, for your concerns and support.  PennyCat had a reaction to her shots yesterday and we went back to the doctor this afternoon for an emergency visit.

PennyCat has had IV fluids for dehydration and a shot to help with the reaction.  She is back home and feeling lousy.  She has a slight fever that we are suppose to monitor and is bloated on her right side from the IV.  We are also suppose to push fluids—–Yeah right,  so far tuna juice and chicken broth have proved a waste of time.   She has not eaten since yesterday at 5 a.m. so we are still trying an assortment of her favorites.

We will keep you posted.

Down and Out

June 25, 2009

P6250038I am sick today……the HM did my post for me.  My shots and the trauma of the vet visit has left me weak and tired.  The HM finally dragged me out from under the fuel oil tank in the basement.  I had thrown up twice and also had diarrhea. She tried to get me to eat, but even water comes back up.  I just don’t feel well.  Fortunately, she locked the little brothers in their room, so they are not running over the top of me.

I hate shots, and vets.  Oh,by the way,  Dad forgave me for biting him.  He says he won’t  loose his hand and he won’t sue, so I guess my assets are safe (well at least from Dad).

novaPete cursed under his breath “Stupid little cat, what does she think she is doing.  Dan will have my tail in a sling if anything happens to her.”  He circled the block again, slowly; looking left and right,  it was his third time around and his aggravation grew.  He pulled to the side of the street, slammed his paw on the steering wheel and threw the gear shift in park.   He pulled his cell from his pocket, heaved a sigh and pressed “5” then “meow” with his eighth toe.  A voice answered on the second ring. “Yeah, what is it?” the voice said.   Pete responded with frustration “I lost her, I don’t know how she did it, but she took off like a cat-out-of-hell, I couldn’t keep up and I don’t know where she went.”
